Review Samsung Galaxy Note 3 »
Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Note 3, and it may be the best device by Samsung yet.

The Note 3 is smaller, lighter and slimmer than its predecessor, but comes with larger full-HD screen (5.7in, 1920x1080) faster processor (1.9GHz octa core or 2.3GHz quad core), more ram (3GB), longer lasting battery (3,200mAh for full working day), better cameras (13MP and 2MP), more features and improved S Pen.

In fact, Samsung packed in so many features into the Note 3 that it would take some time to learn the device and get used to using them in order to take advantage of the device's full capability. The Note 3 really is for productivity use, and it could replace a computing unit, given that it is paired with a keyboard and the screen is streamed. Standard implementation of KNOX, Samsung's security vault, would also help with more companies deploying the Note 3 as a standard work device.

The most outstanding improvement that Samsung implemented on the Note 3 is the design. The exterior of the device reminds the user of leather bound notebooks that we all used a couple of decades ago. The back cover is reminiscent of leather with its soft and textured touch and stitching. The side has serrated pattern that resembles the feel of a paper notebook. All in all, the device no longer gives off the simple and cheap plastic feeling that the Note II and other Samsung devices were associated with.

While some users may feel overwhelmed by all of Note 3's functionalities, those who use mobile devices for everyday work would certainly want to test drive one and say that it was worth the wait.
